To celebrate World Whisky Day, we’re giving away a $50 Whisky Foundation gift card to put towards that bottle you’ve had your eye on for a while.

To win it, all you have to do is make us laugh (and impress us with your knowledge of whisky and film).

The idea is pretty simple. Take a film, add some whisky and serve us your punbelievable cocktail. (Yes, this competition is going to be full of groan-inducing puns like that.)

They don’t even have to be complicated: we made ourselves laugh when we wrote Sour M*A*S*H and What to Expect When Jura Expecting.

How to enter:

To enter the competition, simply tweet your punniest entry to @WhiskyFdn with the hashtag #MoviesWithExtraWhisky.

The competition closes midnight Sunday 21 May (EST), so be sure to get your entries in fast. Make sure you follow @WhiskyFdn and tell your friends too, so they don’t miss out. (Plus, if they win, you’ll be able to put dibs on a few drams.)

  1. There will be one winner, who will receive a gift card to the value of $50 for use on whiskyfoundation.com. The price is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.
  2. The winner will be notified via Twitter within 28 days of the closing date.
  3. Winners will be chosen from entrants who have included the @WhiskyFdn Twitter handle and the #MoviesWithExtraWhisky hashtag.
  4. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over. The winner can be based in any country included in Whisky Foundation’s international delivery.
  5. Winners may be asked to participate in future promotional activity.
