This Ardbeg Renaissance 1998 bottling was the final release in a quartet of expressions bottled to celebrate the return of the Ardbeg distillery after it was reopened in 1997 following 6 silent years. It was the first 10 Year Old released since the reopening and brings an exquisite range of fruity, grassy and, of course, peated notes to the table. It’s a truly fantastic whisky that carries with it a little piece of Scotch whisky history. Today, this bottle is highly collectible and hard to find.
