This beautiful single cask Balblair 1996, from Cask 22, was initially matured in bourbon casks before being transferred to a first-fill Spanish oak butt for a further two years before being bottled in 2018. Rich and fruity with notes of cinnamon, figs, black liquorice and subtle pepper, it’s a truly enjoyable dram. With only 669 bottles released for La Maison du Whisky’s Cellar Book series, this one is limited in numbers.

Asta Morris is a label under which former Belgian Malt Maniac Bert Bruyneel bottles his excellent cask selection. This particular Asta Morris whisky is from Glen Moray. It is a 10 year old “Kanagawa (upland seascape)” single malt release with only 370 bottles ever released.
