The Glenora Distillery in Nova Scotia, Canada, is one that is steeped in beauty. It is without a doubt one of the most scenic distilleries in the world, with the rolling fields, hills and wildlife that surround it and their whisky is equally as beautiful. The Master Distillers have picked up many of their methods from Scotch experts and these are perfectly employed to create fantastic tasting whisky.
This 1994 vintage 25 Year Old was the distillery’s first ever release and it’s an absolute beauty, highlighted by the fact there are so few of these left in the world today. The elegant bottle comes packaged inside an impressive wooden display case that features two hand-poured Nova Scotia crystal glasses. As if that wasn’t enough to wet your appetite, the liquid inside is of an incredibly high standard. This is a single cask dram that was cared for with the utmost attention to detail and as a result it is a complex, intriguing and flavourful whisky.
