This Glen Spey 12 Year Old was distilled at the Speyside distillery in 2009 and matured in refill bourbon casks, before being given a three year finishing period in Cote Rotie wine casks. It was then bottled and release by indie bottler, Gordon & MacPhail 2021. It’s a superb whisky that brings elegant notes of rich fruits, charred oak, fresh grapes and sweet honey that combine perfectly to create a memorable drinking experience. Limited in numbers, it’s worth getting your hands on it while you can.
