Description
This stunning Glenrothes 22 Year Old was distilled in 1996 and matured in a single hogshead cask for 22 years before bottling in July 2018. It’s a whisky that brings the perfect combination of sweet and spice, with oranges, milk chocolate and marzipan meeting spicy malt and a very subtle whiff of mint. The array of notes on offer is excellent in this one and it likely take you a few drams to fully explore this expression. As a single cask whisky, only 342 bottles were produced and as such it’s highly collectible as well as delicious. One not to miss out on.
