About Macallan
Macallan, if you drink whisky, you’ve heard of it, everybody has, in all likelihood, you’ve also tried it. Founded in Moray in 1824 by Alexander Read a farmer and a school teacher, Macallan is one of the oldest legal distilleries in Scotland. It has ever since build a reputation for excellence. James Bond was drinking Macallan in Skyfall, the Macallan 10 Years old has been selected as the Offical Scotch of the Speaker of the house of commons.
Today, it is the third best selling single malt in the world with over half a million cases are sold each year, it is also especially sought after by collectors, as it is renowned for its quality. Its products are frequently featured at auctions where they fetch a fortune. The most expensive one so far has sold for $54,000. Its products continue to win international awards, Macallan really is state of the art stuff!

The Maltman is a range of exclusive single malt whisky bottlings released by independent bottler Meadowside Blending. Maltman is dedicated to searching for gems from working and closed distilleries throughout Scotland. Each release can be expected to delight the connoisseur and excite the enthusiast. Asta Morris is a label under which former Belgian Malt Maniac Bert Bruyneel bottles his excellent cask selection. This particular Asta Morris whisky is from Glen Moray. It is a 10 year old “Kanagawa (upland seascape)” single malt release with only 370 bottles ever released.
