To celebrate National Tartan Day, taking place across the US on the April 6th, we’re running an exciting social media competition that could bag you a bottle of the fantastic Glenlivet Master Distiller’s Reserve.

In honour of Scottish heritage, history and culture, we’re looking for you to submit photographs of your dram alongside something that reminds you of Scotland.

Whether you’ve got your own tartan, a Scottish friend, a set of bagpipes, a saltire flag or are lucky enough to have your own pet haggis or Loch Ness monster, we want you to get your creative juices flowing and send us images that will make us laugh, cry or feel a real sense of pride in our ancestry.

Simply submit your entry via Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #TartanDayWhisky or follow the direct linkg below to be in with a chance of winning the Glenlivet Master Distiller’s Reserve.

You have until 11:59PM EST on Monday April 8th to enter, so get your camera, your whisky and something that reminds of Scotland together, and get snapping. We can’t wait to see what you come up with.

1. Take a picture of a bottle or dram of Scotch that you’re drinking alongside something that reminds you of Scotland. There are no right and wrong answers here – anything from tartan to haggis to heavy rain or snow is acceptable – so be creative!!!
2. Send us your photo:
   • Post your entry on the Whisky Foundation Facebook page (click here).
   • Post it on Instagram, tagging @WhiskyFdn and using the hashtag #TartanDayWhisky.
   • Enter directly on the form on this webpage.
3. That’s it! We’ll pick a winner by the end of Monday April 8th.

Terms and Conditions

1. All submissions will be entered into a random draw. The prize is as stated, subject to availability, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.
2. Winners will be chosen from entrants who have submitted a photo via the Whisky Foundation website, replied to the newsletter, or posted a qualifying photo to social media. Qualifying entries will have used the hashtag #TartanDayWhisky and will tag @WhiskyFdn.
3. Entries will be judged by how well they fit the theme and communicate Whisky Foundation’s brand values. The judge’s decision is final.
4. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over. The winner can be based in any country included in Whisky Foundation’s international delivery.
5. Winners may be asked to participate in future promotional activity.
