This superb two bottle set from indie bottler, The Maltman, includes two single cask, single malt whiskies created at two of Islay’s most famous distilleries.
The first is a Bunnahabhain that was distilled in 2004 and matured in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Cask for around 15 years before bottling in 2019. It’s a cask strength whisky that comes in at 53.6% and comes packaged inside a gorgeous bottle and box that features a blue-jay on the label. Only 317 bottles were produced. The second bottle in the set was distilled at Caol Ila in 2014 and matured in a bourbon cask for around 5 years before bottling in 2019. It comes in at 58.8% and only 318 bottles of this one were produced.
