The Rest & Be Thankful Whisky Company has become something of a name in the independent bottling scene.

They have released many incredible expressions (most of which are single cask whiskies) that their team of whisky experts have taken time to hand-pick from distillery warehouses around Scotland.

Some of their most notable releases include whisky from Highland Park, Springbank, Bowmore and several heavily peated Octomore releases sourced from the Bruichladdich warehouses on Islay.

The name Rest & Be Thankful comes from an inscription made on a stone by soldiers who were building a military road all the way back in 1753. The stone sits at the top of a steep hill where the soldiers, and indeed other travellers, would literally stop to rest & be thankful.

The company aims to provide an experience that is as close to this as possible through their whiskies. They are often well rounded and complex, allowing you to empty your head of all thoughts as your nose, palate and mind are taken on a relaxing journey.
