Released to celebrate Ardbeg Day 2021, the Scorch is a fiery single malt matured in heavily charred ex-bourbon casks that have imparted notes of wood smoke, citrus fruits, a gentle oakiness and vanilla onto the peated spirit. As with most Ardbeg whiskies, the peat comes in big waves and builds the more you drink. It’s an exquisite creation and as a limited edition whisky, quantities are highly limited.
