Description
A stunning single cask single malt from the Caol Ila Distillery and popular bottler Douglas Laing that was distilled in 2009 and matured for 11 years before bottling. It brings elegant notes of lemon pie, sweet bread and cinnamon spice on the nose, before the palate arrives with smokes orange zest, hazelnuts and spiced coffee. The finish is long, with gentle chimney smoke lingering with a touch of vanilla. It’s a really fine whisky created by one of the best in the business and with only a handful of bottles remaining on today’s market, it’s worth grabbing while you can.
