This brilliant Edradour 1999 vintage Barolo Cask Finished single malt was distilled in 1999 and matured in bourbon barrels with red wine from the Barolo region – the Italian soul region. Barolo is known as the “King of Wine” in Italy and used to be loved by many royals. Unlike other red wine cask whiskies, this Edradour Vintage 1999 Barolo Cask Finish was originally aged in Bourbon casks for 13 years and then spent 92 months in top quality Barolo Casks. The results are an intensely rich and fruity tasting experience that brings everything from red berries, juicy grapes and gentle honey to sticky toffee and charred oak.
