This Macallan Boutique Collection 2020 bottling is the latest release in the series released to celebrate the opening of the distillery’s first ever standalone boutique store, at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Much like the editions that came before, this whisky was hugely popular upon release and as such it’s very hard to come by today.
Masterfully crafted by the Macallan Master Distillers and Masters of Wood, this whisky delivers an exquisite tasting experience, just as you would expect from one of Scotland’s best distilleries. It’s rich and full with honeyed fruits, winter berries, Christmas cake, oak and subtle citrus. Bottled at cask strength, this is an excellent example of just how good Macallan whisky can be and it’s highly collectable today.
