Description
This beautiful Glenallachie single cask bottling was distilled in Speyside in 2008 and matured in a sherry butt for around 12 years before bottling in 2020. It brings a distinctive array of rich and fruity notes to the table, as you would expect from a sherry cask whisky from Speyside, including stewed fruits, subtle cinnamon spice, blackberry jam and hints of cracked black pepper. It’s a delightful whisky that comes housed in a stunning bottle and box that features Wang Xiao Long, a famous character from Hong Kong manga, Oriental Heroes. It’s a bottle that is as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside and with only 129 bottles produced, it’s worth getting your hands on while you can.
