Glenlivet Spectra is a new limited edition of the Glenlivet Mystery series, following Alpha, Cipher and Code, which released in 2020. Glenlivet Spectra is a classic triple sonata that will transform the imagination of whisky.
For the first time in the Glenlivet Limited Edition Mystery Black series, Spectra has launched a limited collection of three different flavors in a single set. Each whisky pays tribute to the brand’s distinctive fruity and smooth palate, like a classic triple sonata, creating a unique five-sensory feast.
Glenlivet SPECTRA, is a combination of three pitch-black triangular columns that interact magnetically and are free to unfold and change. Bottle #1 has been aged in first-fill sherry butts and American Oak, #2 in a mix of ex-European and American oak with some hints of peat lingering in the wood from previous whiskey, and finally bottle #3 is hinted as being “Whisky touched by flames”, due to the double charred barrels that held it.
