Description
This excellent Glenrothes 1995 single malt was distilled at the famous Speyside distillery and matured in a mix of American oak and Spanish oak casks for around 9 years before bottling in 2014. It brings spiced oak, sweet honey and freshly sliced apples on the nose, before dried cherries, cranberries and cinnamon spice make themselves known on the palate. The finish is long and sweet, with warm oak lingering for some time.
