Kilchoman, the most traditional farm-style distillery on Islay Island, distilled this single cask whisky in 2014 before maturing it in an ex-bourbon barrel for 6 years and then finishing in an Oloroso Sherry Butt for 15 months. It was created using malt peated to 50ppm, bringing strong smoky notes, citrus fruits, dried berries, melted chocolate and cinnamon spice that mingle terrific fashion. It was released as an exclusive for Taoyuan The Whisky Taste and as a single cask whisky, is highly limited in numbers.
