The Lagavulin 25 Year Old is a rare vintage independent bottling. It was distilled at the Islay based distillery in 1990 before being bottled by The Syndicate’s at another famous Islay distillery, Bruichladdich. Only 243 bottles were released.
About Lagavulin distillery
The Lagavulin distillery, based in South Islay, came into operation in 1816 and is today owned by drinks giant Diageo. They tend to use Sherry and Bourbon casks in their maturing process and their whiskies have won countless awards over the years.

The Syndicate’s is a well respected group of Scottish whisky lovers who select the finest quality casks from across Scotland before having them bottled at Islay’s Bruichladdich distillery. Their bottles are generally thought of as being of a superior quality to many other whiskies from around the country and for this reason they have become favourites among many connoisseurs and whisky fans alike.
