About Springbank Distillery
Finding a family owned distillery in Scotland is rare these days, but Springbank has maintained the culture and heritage that has made them rise to prominence. One of the most interesting things about Springbank is that they are one of only two distilleries that perform all steps of the whisky making process. Combine this with their two and a half times distillation and you get a very unique whisky.
About Rest & Be Thankful
“Rest and Be Thankful” was the inscription on a stone placed by soldiers at the top of Glen Croe in 1753. The climb through the valley is so long and steep that it was traditional for travelers to rest at this point and be thankful for having completed the climb.
Rest & Be Thankful Whisky Company does not just bottle the finest rare single malt whiskies from the best distilleries. They bottle a state of mind that allows the drinker to experience the same feeling of bliss and contentment felt by those weary travelers all those years ago.
