About Springbank Distillery
Finding a family owned distillery in Scotland is rare these days, but Springbank has maintained the culture and heritage that has made them rise to prominence. One of the most interesting things about Springbank is that they are one of only two distilleries that perform all steps of the whisky making process. Combine this with their two and a half times distillation and you get a very unique whisky.

$1,659.99
When you drink a Springbank single malt, you’re tasting a whisky that’s unique. Not only have the distillery handled every single aspect of the whisky making process, but they use two and a half times distillation to produce incredible results.
And this bottling is no different.
It’s peaty and musty on the nose, followed by waves of peaty sweetness and a smooth finish.
If you love peaty whiskies, you can’t go wrong with this private bottling from Springbank.

This Dalmore King Alexander III was created by legendary Master Distiller, Richard Paterson, who used a range of differently aged malts matured in French wine casks, Madeira drums, sherry butts, Marsala barrels, port pipes and bourbon barrels. This has resulted in a truly complex and deep dram, but one that is also well-balanced and smooth. This […]
