This beautiful Tomatin single malt whisky was distilled in the Scottish Highlands in 1989 and matured in refill American hogshead casks for nearly 22 years before being bottled and released by Gordon & MacPhail in 2011 as part of their hugely popular Connoisseurs Choice range. It’s an exquisite, rich whisky that brings a range of incredible notes to your nose and palate and a smoothness that is hard to find in even the best whiskies.

About Westport Westport isn’t actually a distillery, but instead a brand name under which Glenmorangie released their whisky to independent bottlers. When Glenmorangie sold casks of […]
A 1995 Benriach, bottled by Whisk-E for the Whisky Live Tokyo 2014 exhibition. Cask Strength, natural colour, non-chill-filtered. Benriach is a distillery firmly on the up after an unusual and occasionally difficult past. The distillery was built just a stone’s throw from Longmorn by the latter’s owner, John Duff, in 1898 – just months before […]
This Jamaica 30 Year Old was hand selected for the Rum Nation series and that tells us that the spirit inside is a bit special. The island has alternating intense rainfalls and sunshine which facilitates the growth of some of the best sugarcane in the world. This is a unique 30 year old gem from […]
This Black Snake Second Venom is a blended whisky from indie bottler Blackadder. It was created using the Spanish Solera system, resulting in a smooth and somewhat complex blend. Well worth a try!
Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. Bottled by Asta Morris in Scotland for Gaiaflow. A Japan release only – but we’ve managed to grab a few bottles for Whisky Foundation customers around the world!
