This Ballechin 2008 “Shuten-dōji” is a single cask whisky released under the “Ballechin” brand name, given to peated whiskies produced at Edradour. It was created from peated malt and matured in a second-sill sherry cask for around 12 years before bottling in 2020. With an incredible array of notes on offer and only 673 bottles produced, this is one that’s worth grabbing while you can!
