The Glenallachie Distillery is quickly becoming one of the most popular distilleries in Scotland, creating outstanding expression, including “World’s Best Single Malt” winner – The Glenallachie 10 Year Old Batch 4.This brilliant 9 Year Old is yet another superb whisky to add to the growing collection of excellent releases from Glenallachie. Aged in premium American oak barrels before being reloaded into bold and powerful Kentucky rye barrels, this one brings sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, honey and orange peels on the nose, before butterscotch, cloves, lavendar honey and citrus zest make themselves known on the palate. It’s an amazing whisky that we can’t recommend highly enough.
