In 1996, Glenlivet 22 year old Single Cask Edition Cask No.825 single malt was matured in the highly valuable Sherry Butt cask, without any addition of water or mixing. It was bottled in 2018 at a strength of 60.2% of its original bucket. Preserve the most distinctive and original flavor, present Glenlivet’s standard spirit perfectly, and increase its collectible value.
Scotland’s Glenlivet Distillery, located close to Ballindalloch in Moray, is home to single malt Scotch whisky production. It is Scotland’s oldest operating distillery. Since its founding in 1824, it has almost always been in operation. One of the largest single malt distilleries is Glenlivet, which expanded throughout the post-war era. The Glenlivet brand is the most popular single malt whisky in the US and the second most popular worldwide. The Chivas Brothers are currently the owners of the distillery.
