Description
This fantastic new release makes up part of the exciting Balvenie Stories range that was just launched by the popular Speyside distillery. This wonderful expression was the brainchild of recently-appointed apprentice Malt Master, Kelsey McKechnie. It was matured in twice-toasted virgin American Oak casks that bring a fruitier, sweeter character than fans of Balvenie are used to.
Sweet fudge, soft oak, vanilla, candied peels and honey mingle with citrus fruits and gentle spices, leading you right up to a gentle but lasting finish that will leave you longing for another dram. A superb creation from Balvenie.
