Savor the flavor of the single Highland malt Scotch whisky made just for the 25th anniversary of J’s Bar Ikebukuro and Shinanoya Ginza, which was distilled in 1999 at the Glenfarclas Distillery in Speyside, Scotland. After being left to mature in a refill Sherry barrel until 2019, it was bottled with a 55.2% strength. At Tokyo Whisky Fest 2019, a limited edition signed version of this unique Glenfarclas family cask was made available.  This bottle has a unique charm that first fill cannot fully capture. Its vibrant, exquisite appearance has evolved with age to become limitless, spacious and elegant.

Glenfarclas, a distillery with over 180 years of history, is one of Speyside’s most well-known brands. The Grants are the only family to have owned and operated Glenfarclas since 1865. Renowned cattle breeder John Grant secured the Rechlerich Farm’s tenancy and bought the Glenfarclas Distillery as part of the deal. One of the few family-run distilleries in Scotland, Glenfarclas is currently in the equally secure hands of its fifth generation. This distillery continues to be dedicated to achieving its goal of producing the best Highland single malt Scotch whisky in the classical Speyside approach.
