It was created to make you question everything you know about whisky – according to the Ardbeg website, it is ‘intentionally challenging’. Expect big hits of peat smoke combined with charcoal, hints of fennel and celery and lingering woodsmoke. It’s a powerful whisky and one that will take you several drams to explore. As a new release, quantities of this one are highly limited.
