Its aroma is an abundant note of dark, polished fruit, including cherries, cranberries, tangerines, and mirabelles, that greet the senses. The aroma evolves with elements of leather satchels, lacquer, plump raisins, and spent espresso grounds. Stem ginger and angelica add liveliness, while fine bonfire toffee and cocoa-dusted truffles provide a luxurious depth. With the addition of water, the nose reveals a vivid array of wild berries and underlying earthiness, with an orange note transitioning to a syrupy, cordial sweetness.

Its flavor is luxuriant and expansive, the palate delivers walnut whips, rich chocolate gateaux, and juicy oranges. A backbone of dark hedgerow berries complements the well-aged polish, with subtle citrus hints.
