This Macallan Boutique Collection 2016 bottling was released to celebrate the opening of the distillery’s first ever standalone boutique store, at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. This is the first bottle in the Boutique Collection series and due to its popularity upon release, it’s very hard to come by today.

Masterfully crafted by the Macallan Master Distillers and Masters of Wood, this whisky delivers an exquisite tasting experience, just as you would expect from one of Scotland’s best distilleries. It’s rich and full-bodied with lots of dark fruits, oak and subtle citrus. Bottled at cask strength, this is an astounding example of just how good Macallan whisky can be and it’s highly collectable today.
